Judy was honored to receive the New York State Reading Association's
Council Service Award for 2009-2010
at the NYSRA Assembly of Delegates meeting
in Albany on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
This award recognizes Judy's work as
"a staunch supporter of the goals of the NYS Reading Association and for significant contributions to local council programs."
Judy was awarded the Service to Reading Award
by the
Niagara Frontier Reading Council,
a chapter of the New York State Reading Association,
at its annual spring brunch held on May 1, 2010.
This award recognizes
"significant involvement in literacy education
and outstanding contribution
to promoting literacy in the community."
